Cheerleaders require hours of training that can be very tough on the body, with repetitive pounding on joints and muscles and many times, the directive to keep pushing no matter how much pain you may be in. Many times, cheerleaders are rushed through the process of learning new skills so that they can keep up with the intensity that the sport requires. Proper technique and body strength and flexibility isn’t always attained before these skills are learned.
